We started with an old blue Trinidad bottom paint that was not smooth or fast. It already had a couple of seasons on it and was performing poorly. It did not want to come off but with some persuasion we started making head way. The bottom was dry and we found very few blisters. The base-line of our project is a solid frame of reference so we should do well to build on it. This was the scene in early 2009 with Darby starting his battle and we were optimistic that he would be back with us soon. Also business was starting to slow but I was likewise optimistic that it was a minor bump in the road. Both thoughts were severely understated.
