What happend to May?

Crap it's the 16th of May already. Between the trip to PVD (helped make boat money - no complaints) Mother's Day (also love you Mom - still not complaining) and the weather -Seems to be raining on my prime work time (and okay now I am complaining a little) I am not GSDing (Getting Shit Done). One bit of good news I put some of the putty / filler epoxy over some holes in the cockpit and now - despite the torrential  downpours - the boat stayed dry inside. That has not happend in years and I think I have finally gotten all them leaks.

In between other priorities I have managed to take another pass with the 80 grit sander and longboards. The hull is super-smooth. The paint is going to go on as soon as I get the thru-hulls in (speed and depth sensors). And get a good spray day. My "guy who knows how to spray" has gone missing so I may go it alone with only youtube videos and "spray painting for dummies"to keep me out of trouble.  The shelf life on Baltoplate is two years and I am going a little past that so it will be interesting to see how this comes out. At $250 / gallon I am willing to take a chance. It will be a short season because I plan to haul out every winter so I will know soon enough if the paint is crap. I have eaten food past it's shelf life with mixed results; we shall see.

In the H20 by SBRW? Not looking likely but hoping to get back on track this weekend.....
