Round the Lights yes we did...

Thanks to OPCYC for putting on one of my favorite races on the Southern Bay. The "round the

lights" race has skippers making the call on going left or right. This year right was right and after referencing and evaluating data on tides, currents and wind we decided to follow Rusty. A strategy that paid off and got us a 4th. 

This race is a staggered start so rather than adjusting handicap based corrections our finish is our place. Siri nailing our start time. Also, this was the last race we did in 2008 before the haul-out; getting out this year was an important goal.    

Congrats to Margarita (1), Cool Change (2) and Bad Habit (3). Also big thanks to FBG crew Tim, T-Byrd, Mike, Hudd and Bree who all did an awesome job sailing the boat. It was an amazing day on the water and I hope Hudd enjoyed enough food and sprits for us all at the post race party.
