2015 sailing - in brief

Wednesday nights of Summer 2015 - The CVN in the background is fitting
Thanks to everyone who has crewed with us this summer! It's bittersweet that we enjoy the last month of HYC Wednesday nights. I hate to see the season go, but I am eager to get to work for 2016 and a more robust sailing schedule.

With the exception of the Veterans Cup, our 2015 sailing has been on Wednesday's and focused on crew training and building. It was a great mix of old friends like Tim, T-Byrd, Sid and Olivia along with several newcomers, mostly from the USS Abraham Lincoln's engineering department.

I have a lot of work planned for the down season. The floor, reinstalling the head, a new engine and some light glass work. I'l keep posting here and update as I roll through the projects. We still have 4 Wednesdays and we are going to do some weekend practices.
