Speed and Depth...Check!

The countdown begins. 60 Days to the CCV's spring series and FBG is tracking to be on the line. I finally completed mounted the speed and depth gauges on the mast. It seemed to be taking forever between getting the fasteners worked out, the weather and my crazy schedule. The depth works great and now can be seen. It has some pretty cool programming features and will read depth below the keel once I get it set up.

The knot meeter seems to be working as far as spinning the wheel and watching the numbers change. It needs a sea trial and I hope to get that in soon. I have been running the filthy every week and my winterization is working out. Hoping, praying, sacrificing small animals for an early spring so we can get out and start optimizing running rigging.

I finished the gauge mounting Sunday. It was a little warm; the weather that brings boaters down to the docks. So getting work done slowed. I am also finding that having a bar just up the dock can hender work getting done. But it keeps sprits high. 2013 Victory at Sea!
