Sunday's CCV # 3 distance race was a great start to watch. It was a down wind start in 10-15 mph breeze. There was even an over early which was followed by some challenging kite work. The breeze built up; so while I was
green with envy, deep-down glad we were not on the line. We're getting closer but still not there - not yet. As fun as it looked, I would hate for people to get hurt or gear to get broken. Congrats to the racers who made it out.
With the race underway, I decided to go back to the boat and take care of some housekeeping. The ladder of death...has been tightened up and should be good for the remainder of the season. Also the strange vibration with
the filthy is a missing transmission mount bolt. The old bolt is stripped so I'm going to hit
Fastenal this afternoon with hopes they have one of these rare metric BMW bolts.
